General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions govern the sale of products displayed on the webshop www.rubiomonocoat.se, operated by Muylle-Facon BV.
By placing an order on our webshop, the Customer accepts these General Terms and Conditions in full. The online ordering process is legally binding.

1. Seller's Identity – Customer Status

The Products are sold by:

Any natural person placing an order outside their business activity via the Seller's webshop is considered a “Customer” under these General Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to every offer from the Seller, every order from the Customer and all agreements between the Seller and the Customer related to the purchase of Products via our online shop (the “Sales Agreement”).
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, the validity of any other terms and conditions is expressly excluded.

3. Ordering Process & Formation of the Sales Agreement

The Sales Agreement is concluded as soon as the Seller has accepted the Customer's order via the webshop by sending an order confirmation by email, containing information about the ordered Product(s) and a copy of these General Terms and Conditions.

The Seller reserves the right to reject a placed order if:

  • (i) the Product will not be available for an extended period of time (the Customer will be informed and any amount already paid will be refunded),
  • (ii) a previously placed order was or is the subject of a dispute with the Customer.

4. Prices

The prices of the Products are those indicated on the webshop at the time the order is placed. Rubio Monocoat Sweden A.B. is not bound by any material error, i.e. a technical error or input error, in the prices displayed on the webshop. If such an error occurs, the Customer will be informed and will have 14 calendar days from notification to cancel the contract.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate in the Customer's country of residence. All prices are exclusive of delivery costs.
Before the order is placed, the total price, including any fees or costs, will be clearly stated to the Customer.

5. Payment Methods

The Customer shall pay for the Products in advance at the time of placing the order. Payment may be made using the following methods:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express
  • Digital Wallets: Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal

The Customer warrants that they are legally entitled to make online payments using one of these payment methods and that sufficient funds are available to cover the total price.

6. Delivery

  • Products are shipped only to addresses in Sweden.
  • The Seller undertakes to deliver the Products within 5 calendar days after receipt of payment, unless another delivery date has been expressly agreed upon at the time of conclusion of the Sales Agreement. If delivery cannot be made within this timeframe, the Customer will be informed in writing and a new reasonable delivery date will be announced. If this new delivery period is also exceeded, the Customer has the right to cancel the order.
  • The Seller reserves the right to make partial deliveries in the event of temporary unavailability or delays. The Customer will be informed in the event of partial delivery.
  • If delivery is delayed because the Customer unreasonably refuses to accept the Products or has not collected them within a reasonable time, the Seller has the right to cancel the Sales Agreement.
  • The order is delivered to the address specified during the ordering process. Upon delivery/collection, the Customer shall check the packaging for any damage and inspect the Products for visible defects or quality deficiencies.
  • Any complaints regarding visible defects, damage and/or missing deliveries must be notified in writing within two (2) days after delivery/collection, including a clear picture of the damaged packaging/visible defects. Complaints submitted after this period will not be processed.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer at the time of delivery/collection.

7. Cancellation (Before Shipment)

The Customer has the right to cancel the order without giving a reason and without costs before the Products have been shipped. After cancellation, the Customer will receive confirmation and any amount already paid will be refunded.

Once confirmation of dispatch has been issued, cancellation is no longer possible. However, the Customer may return the Product(s) after delivery in accordance with the withdrawal procedure below.

8. Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 30 days of receiving your order. You do not need to give a reason.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must register your return online via your personal account. Please note that we don't accept return requests via email.

How to request a return:

  1. Log in to your account on our website.
  2. Navigate to "Orders" in your account menu.
  3. Select the order containing the items you wish to return.
  4. Click on "Request Return" and follow the prompts to complete your request.

Once your request is submitted, you will receive further instructions on how to ship the products back to us.
